After a plethora of designs with comfort as the main design focus on the post-pandemic fashion show, Balenciaga’s 2021SS show also got a new look. With the latest introduction of the X-Pander sneaker, Balenciaga has created a new object of desire, unleashing the crowd’s imagination of comfort. The shoe has the same aesthetic characteristics as the Track and Track 2 sneakers, with a unique style from the 90s and early 00s. The upper has a mesh sole with a mixed material overlay, and the branding on the shoe is kept to a minimum. At first glance, these sneakers look the same as the Balenciaga of yesteryear. But the chunky, uniquely cut midsole is eye-catching, and the heel of this shoe is mounted on a spring-like structure, making it the biggest breakthrough.
